- Commence standard transition (Ex. 10) |

On onset of ETL lower collective to prevent climb - right pedal

Adjust RPM if necessary to prevent overspeed |

Accelerate smoothly to the desired speed - control height with lever |

Set and control desired attitude with cyclic - lower collective to prevent climb |

Use pedals to maintain balanced flight or maintain the heading the same as track - (Wind direction & velocity) |

To slow down gently flair the aircraft (de-accelerative attitude) at the same time lowering the lever to control height and prevent any ballooning - ready with right pedal |

As ETL is lost be ready with collective & left pedal |

Nose will tend to pitch up with increase in power cyclic may need to be eased forward to prevent aircraft stopping too quickly |

@ Zero ground speed set for the hover attitude (5ft hover) and adjust throttle if necessary to prevent low RPM and possible over-pitching |
